Bright Leads Media is a digital marketing agency registered as a business in the state of Delaware. We sign a confidentiality agreement with all our clients.
We were able to drive 2000% more traffic to a Shopify store in less than 3 months, that’s right, 2000% more highly targeted traffic from Google. You know, where people TELL YOU what they want instead of you guessing what they MIGHT want on Facebook (had to get that out of the way, haha).
They had 0 traffic from Google, then moved on to about 10 visitors a day when we ran a site audit on their store. After which, we started building links to their store, we literally built about 10 links in a matter of a few weeks (3 to be exact) and then the results started rolling in.
For confidentiality reasons, we can’t disclose who they are or what industry they’re in. But to be honest, it wasn’t an easy industry to compete on the SEO side of things.
Now, let’s talk about the numbers you’re seeing above, from June 1st till July 20th, the site went from receiving 9 visitors per day to receiving almost 200 per day. Before you tell me that’s a very small number of visitors, I’ll tell you that this is not a content website that relies on large numbers of visitors to make its money.
This is an ecommerce store that sells commodities, so one visitor here is worth more than 500 visitors to a website monetized through adsense. Add to that the fact that traffic from SEO is highly targeted and the visitors have intent to buy or at least research the products they intend to buy.
by running ads on Facebook for a stroller that costs $350, how do you think the conversion rate will look like? Not pretty, I’ll tell you that much. Now imagine with me having that same store invest in SEO and rank on Google and Bing for their desired keywords, like “stroller xxx price”, “buy xxx stroller”, “purchase xxx stroller”, “stroller YYYY discount code”….etc
Now you get the picture, someone typing in those keywords is looking to BUY and not just browse, so 200 visitors from Google with high intent is worth a lot more than 1000 visitors from Facebook.
In addition to the fact that you don’t have to pay for every click, and that you can also keep that traffic coming for as long as you can.
If you’re not familiar with SEO, it’s comprised of two main parts. On-site and Off-site. You always start with the on-site because that’s the foundation of your website.
On-page SEO (or on-site, call it whatever you want) is necessary because it helps Google and other search engines understand what your website is about, you do it by utilizing the meta tags on your pages properly, like title tags, headlines, subheadings…etc (there’s a LOT more to it than this, I’m just giving you what you absolutely need to know to understan).
Off-Page SEO in a nutshell is building links to your website (links pointing to your website from others), whether you know what it is or have an idea. You need to know that it’s harder than ever to build natural links now than 5 or 6 years ago.
Even when the process is getting more and more complicated every day, that doesn’t mean opportunities don’t exist. You can benefit from SEO today just like you would have been in 2012 or 2013.
To more exciting case studies (and hopefully ones where we can reveal ALL the details)
