In this part, we will go over a detailed explanation of the process & Strategy that helped this client go from 40K to 80K monthly visitors.
We started by identifying all the best content assets on their blog from a traffic standpoint (with Google Analytics and Google Search Console). They had hundreds of blog posts, but few of them were getting consistent traffic.
After that, we identified content that didn’t have potential, so we ended up with 2 categories:
When we say SEO friendly, we mean content that is based on thorough keyword research. So before recommending any content ideas for our client, we did an in-depth keyword research to find the best opportunities while also basing it on a competitive analysis.
For this client, we knew that the content audit and the recommendations we made wouldn't cut it and won’t get us to double the organic traffic.
We needed to get more links, therefore, we started working on link building.

Over a period of 6 months, we were able to double our client’s organic traffic which went from 41K to 80K monthly visitors.
Not only that, but we also added 200 new referring domains and increased their SQL by 30% over the same period of time!

• Large websites with international targeting require special techniques to make sure the optimization efforts deliver great results.
• Older content can actually be a problem if it is not reviewed, updated and optimized. While deleting content is the last resort, it should be an option when necessary.
• Expertise in the SaaS world are important and all content should be high quality. The better the content, the better the chances of ranking for high difficulty keywords.
• Acquiring new referring domains is important, whether organically or through link building. The goal is to find ways to increase the quality AND quantity of referring domains.
